The Escape Artist offers what most other escape devices do not -- a hands-free edge transition and a controllable descent. The Escape Artist lays out the rope smoothly and then locks when loaded, allowing both hands to be used to negotiate the exit.

This very small Figure 8 descender works well with Escape Lines or other small diameter ropes where minimum size and weight are the primary requirements.

The Fader Rescue 8 Descender is a compact 8 with "ears" and a unique curved profile. Holes in the ears are designed to decrease the head caused by rope friction during a descent. The extra-large bottom hole allows for the clipping of two carabiners.
