This super tough shell has been proven for years in field tests used to resist cracking, chipping and peeling (even on helmet ridges) better than traditional fiberglass composites and Kevlar reinforced shells.

Standard features include NOMEX Quick Release Postman Chinstrap, 8 Point Ratchet Suspension with Black Flannel Liner and 4, 1" x 4" Lime/Yellow Reflective Bars.

4" Leather Fronts are sold separately.

      A:

Mike, we have never sold a helmet based on this type of sizes, if you have a larger head than most fire helmets you should take a tape measure and go around your head and get a measurement. We can tell you that a MSA/Cairns helmets are either Medium or large, they say a 21 1/4" to 24 1/8" is a medium and a 24 1/4" to 25 1/4" is a large or they say a hat size of 7 3/4 and up is a large. Hope this was helpful to you.

I don't have the weight of each helmet, there isn't much of any difference between the 2 helmets, maybe a couple ounces.

What is the weight of this helmet and can it come without the reflective bars?

      A:

I can't find the weight of this model helmet it's going to be around 3 lbs. and this helmet is a NFPA spec helmet and you have to have the reflective bars on them, if you remove them that's up to you.
