      A:

      I have sheet in front of me that tells me that there are 2 locking features, tamper resistant locking pins that lock the battery drawer and/or alarm to mounting bracket
      It says to remove the pins to open the battery drawer, replace the double A batteries close the drawer, and re-insert pin to lock drawer.
