The First Due FIREFIGHTER Series Helmets have been designed to give superior head safety protection with the comfort and wear ability that has always distinguished the First Due Firefighter helmet line.

These helmets offer a well balanced and lightweight system which provides maximum protection for the user. The special design prevents aerodynamic lifting of the helmet when exposed to speeds as high as seventy miles per hour.

Used for rescue work, especially confined space situations. It has the standard liner without ratchet, ear & neck protection.

Can be equipped with Goggles.

      The answer to your question is this helmet doesn't meet any NFPA standards.
      The following is copied off of their web site;
      •High temperature thermo plastic shell with rear brim shortened and brim trim
      •Four 3M lime-yellow reflective 1” x 4” strips
      •Closed cell energy impact cap
      •Exclusive Phenix suspension liner (nape strap or ratchet)
      •Nomex webbing chinstrap (postman’s slide, quick release, or combination)
      •Screw knob attachment kit
      •Compliant to current CAL and US OSHA standards
      This helmet DOES NOT provide eye/face or ear/neck protection and is used mainly for Search and Rescue applications.
