This strap securely holds 50, 100, or 150' of 1-3/4" double jacketed fire hose, the most commonly used attack hose in the fire service.

Ideal for cross lays, quick attack lines, or standpipe operations. Strap consists of three quick release VELCRO® brand® closures, interconnected by a stiff nylon spine that works well with all fire apparatus.

The strap keeps the hose organized and ready for rapid deployment while enabling a firefighter to grab a fold of hose, shoulder it, and lay it out. Once at the point of attack, straps can be opened and the hose advanced. Nylon webbing is 2" wide, with 3000-pound tensile strength. Its high-sheer strength VELCRO® brand® is designed to carry 560 lbs. and to be opened and closed 10,000 times.

Stiff backbone connects ends and keeps them evenly spaced. Straps are liquid treated to prevent mold and mildew. Bright, high visibility straps are easily identified and can be opened with gloves on.

Weight: 13 oz.

What is the length of this product and can it be used with 2 1/2" hose with success?

      A:

Phil this is 26" long, the straps will vary from 14" to 28" as far as 2.5" hose they don't say one way or the other if this will hold 2.5" hose, our thoughts are you can but the amount will be less than the 1.75" or 1.5" hose.
Here's another thought the HS200 model is 36" long and the straps are 22" to 34", 2.5" might fit this better, just a thought.
