Comments about Shelby: 2515 Shelby Buckskin Work Glove:
I kept wearing out my Pro Tech 8 gloves in the fingers while doing light work (rolling hose/engineer duties). Finally I gave up on the Pro Tech all together and I purchased the Shelby pair and was happy with the comfort and dexterity and they have lasted about 2 months now but I already have signs of wear on the finger tips of both hands. They do seem like they are built well but I am worried they will also wear out prematurely. I do recommend this pair but be prepared to use them for a light/medium work load only.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

A Good Front Line Glove
from Sunbury, Pa
I have had these gloves for about two years now. Replacing a pair of bad Pro-Tech gloves. They have honestly have only done me one wrong. They are comfy, fit very well and are light enough to hang with glove strap right on the front of your turnouts. I have used them for just about everything be it rolling hose or cleaning up around the station. The only true problem I have had is if you get these buggers wet. After you pull your hands out... Your hands will have a nice yellow tint from the coloring. The great thing about these though, is even though you may get these soaked just like everything in the profession, they bounce back. They are great for the money and the best pair of utility gloves, I worn so far.
