  • Q:

How does sterling silver (the chain) wear over time? Does it tarnish?

Debbie your idea of over time will be different from my idea, there should be no tarnish, now having said that that over time it's possible that it could tarnish, I have a couple St Florian metals that have never tarnished nor the chain, though my chains were a different style, the loop on my metals wore through from moving around on the chains, but they never tarnished. Hope this is of some help for you.
