  • Q:

Does Thorogood offer sole replacement for this pair of boots? Is there anything in NFPA 1977 regarding worn soles/tread? I have had these for a good while as a volunteer and want to keep them for Federal use.

      A:

Stuart, we have 3 options for you, 2 of which we will send to you in a different e mail, the other is you can take the boots to a local shoe repair and have them done. This would be the cheaper way, less expensive for you. The other 2 you can send them back to Thorogood and have them done, they offer 2 options, we will send them to you for you to pick or choose.

Truthfully we don't know, if you want to give it try go right ahead, by military were guessing you mean a spit shine. Seems like an expensive venture but it's up to you.
