Great jacket but showing wear early

    By LE Bomb Tech

    from Washington State

    Verified Buyer

    Pros

    • Comfortable
    • Versatile

    Cons

    • Minor Signs Of Wear Early

    Best Uses

    • Bomb Squad Gear

Comments about True North: DragonWear Nomex Fleece, EXXTREME Jacket for Wildland Firefighting:

This is a good jacket for patrol-bomb duty wear in the chilly Pacific Northwest. Much better than the 5.11 equivalent. My only reservation is that the under sleeve area is starting to show early signs if wear but not enough to go back to the 5.11 that almost disintegrated when it was hit by a single flare spark. The zippers, sturdy shoulders, and under-arm vents are high quality and will stand up over time.
