A step above the rest (features):

Onyx Exploded
1.) The boots offer specially softened tumbled leather in high-flex areas, especially designed to adhere to any and all movements.
2.) Featuring Globe’s innovative Crosstech Footwear Fabric, these boots are an unmatched combination of strength and protection: The full-height bootie liner is comprised of excellent insulation and the cutting-edge Crosstech moisture barrier is unmatched in its ability to prevent water damage.
3.) Potential slips and falls are less of a concern than ever before, thanks to the Heelport™ Internal Fit System, which firmly secures the heel in place while simultaneously cushioning the ankle.
4.) Customization is critical: Each boot is individually molded to perfectly fit any sized foot.
5.) The revolutionary, lightweight composite shank maintains its shape and does not emit heat or cold.
6.) Far exceeding NFPA puncture-resistance standards, the composite puncture protection demonstrates flexibility far greater than a steel plate.
7.) The athletic and durable Vibram Contoured Cup Outsole joins seamlessly with the leather upper to ensure the feel and support of an athletic shoe. Prolonged exposure to harsh-climate weather won’t faze you, thanks to the compound found in the outsole, which is engineered to foster high-traction performance while protecting against fire, abrasions, oil, acid, and slips.
8.) Looking for added traction on water and ice? Then rely on the slip-resistant treads, which feature siping: thin slits cut into flat areas across the boots’ soles. Working on ladders or differing terrains? Then count on the self-cleaning lugs and omni-directional tread patterns, which are designed to thrive in the said environments.
9.) Nominex Webbing Pull-Straps are synonymous with comfort and flexibility. These straps conveniently slide under turnout pants and their ergonomic design fosters an increased level of care and awareness for your legs.
10.) Need added protection when working on a ladder? Then be sure to make use of the 3D molded, padded shin guard to protect your shins from any potential injuries.
11.) Acting as a powerful injury-prevention feature, the lighter-than-steel composite safety toe cap surpasses NFPA safety standards. As an added benefit, it won’t emit heat or cold.
12.) Need extra abrasion-resistance protection when crawling? Then rely on the cemented Vibram Pro Tania Toe Bumper that is securely fastened to the vamp with 2-needle stitching.
13.) These boots are must-haves for anyone who needs reinforced arch support. The 3D Molded Removable Footbed is specially contoured to cradle and cushion the bottoms of your feet. Stay dry with a useful moisture-wicking and anti-microbial fabric top layer.
14.) Working in tandem with the footbed to conform to the shape of your foot, the 3D Composite Lasting Board utilizes a built-in flex zone in the forefoot and a torsionally stable heel to ensure your personal comfort.
15.) If flexibility is your goal, the athletic footwear construction features a 2-part cross-linking adhesive that bonds outsoles to the uppers. Because there are no stiff welts or ribbed mid-soles, there is increased flexibility during the attachment process.

      A:

Some boots do and some do not, i think a lot has to do with the age and how often you use them, what has us stumped is how do they get losted when your putting the pants on, I reach down and grab the top of the boot and put my foot in and do the same for the other foot, pull the pants up.
