The Benchmade 7 Hook/Strap Cutter was designed for a variety of emergency utility situations.

The 7 Hook/Strap Cutter effectively slices through seatbelts, clothing, and other obstructions to enable easier extrications and rescues. The rounded end of the hook provides safety from contact with the skin while the edge on the 440C blade steel slices through seatbelts, netting, and clothing with ease. Initial cut force required by Benchmade was less than a quarter of the competition. It may not seem like much, unless it’s your arm that’s broken. Overall edge retention highlights that even after 500+ cuts, the 7 Hook/Strap Cutter was still cutting noticeably easier than the competition. The hook's handle is elongated for reaching tight places and supplying more stability in your grip. Aggressive treads along the tool's spine and a black PVC coating on the handle provide a positive grip, even with gloved hands. Benchmade's Emergency Hook Cutters are made to save lives. They are proven in the lab, on the highway, and on the field of battle. Don’t trust your life to anything less than a Benchmade.

Comments about Benchmade: 7 Hook/Strap Cutter with MOLLE Sheath:

Great product! Bought one about a year ago and have used it several times on calls and during training. Cuts clothes, seat belts, bunker gear, leather straps, etc. like they're not even there. Definitely worth the money. I am looking to get two more, one to keep in the car and one to keep on me at all times.
