Belay Rescue 8 Personal Descender, Black

The Belay Rescue 8 Personal Descender is a compact 8 with "ears" and a unique curved profile. Holes in the ears are designed to decrease the head caused by rope friction during a descent. The extra-large bottom hole allows for the clipping of two carabiners.
NFPA specs (1983 5.5.3) are:
For light use: 3007lbs
For general use: 5000lbs
Belay Rescue 8 Personal Descender exceeds these numbers with a strength of 6075lbs.
