how difficult is it to replace u bracket? do i need to take the liner out 1st? do u send directions w/product? is there somewhere in the Chicago area that can fix/replace u bracket?
Dave, there are 6 screws, 2 in the back, 1 each side, and 2 in the front, take them out and the suspension should lift out, just be careful. If the helmet is newer than 2007 (I think) there is a black plastic ring? that goes around the helmet, older helmeets have a O/D green looking ring, either way after you have done this there are 2 screws that hold the bracket to the helmet take them out and replace the bracket., then retrace your tracks and reinstall everything. P.S. there are 2 screws and nuts in the package, and there isn't anyone I know of that can do this for you here or in the Chicago area.
