Corrosion resistant steel ladder shank and stainless steel, puncture resistant bottom plate. Goodyear wraparound welt adds support while reducing fatigue and ankle sprains. Barcoded with unique ID number. Reinforced stitched-down sole. Composite toe cap eliminates hot and cold conductivity while protecting foot from injury in the toe area.

The 1951 certification has lapsed for these boots, but the boots are still certified to 1992 (liquid splash), 1999 (EMS) and 1977 (wildland).
