Optical Clarity:
• Engineered to provide distortion free optics, ESS lenses are 100% optically correct and ANSI Z87.1 compliant, while at the same time providing 100% UVA/UVB protection.
Anti-fog & Anti-scratch Treatment:
• High adrenaline goggle users demand maximum fog resistance. The inner surface of all ESS goggle lenses is coated with ESS Clear Zone™, an advanced fog-repellent treatment impregnated in the lens for long-lasting performance.
• ESS Tough Zone™ anti-scratch coatings help armor the lenses against all sorts of scuffs, scratches and abrasions.
• In low-temperature environments, the double-layered ESS Dual Thermal lenses take fog resistance to an even higher level.
Impact Resistance:
• ESS lenses are 2.4mm to 2.8mm of thick polycarbonate - tough enough to stop a shotgun blast and pass the rigorous US Military .22 caliber ballistic impact test MIL-V-43511C. • Independent test labs show that ESS lenses have V50 impact ratings of up to 727 fps.
