The Shelby Proximity Glove is an ARFF (Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting) glove that offers reflective/radiant heat protection on the top, sides and in between the fingers of gloves. The glove encompasses a CROSSTECH DIRECT GRIP breathable, one piece liner/barrier system that is permanently attached inside the glove. Special gripping surfaces are applied to the palm.

This innovative new glove is designed to meet the NFPA ARFF (NFPA 1976, 2000 edition) glove standard. The glove's body is entirely constructed using 7oz. aluminized PBI/KEVLAR knit.

This glove also features Shelby's Firewall Steamblock insulative pad on the back of the hand. This Firewall Steamblock shield offers superior protection to the back of the hand against steam and heat.
