The 30M has a 5-inch raised back for better back protection. This model of the 30M is NOMEX Black and incorporates a Q9 Thermal Liner and Stedair 2000 moisture barrier. Comes with 3" Scotchlite trim in NYC Configuration, hook and dee/Velcro closure system and Arashield cuffs.
The Raised Back pant is fully insulated and has a breathable moisture barrier. It features Take-Up Straps with easily adjustable quick-release postman slides. The Slanted Fly Flap is thermal and vapor barrier-lined and includes dome fasteners and hook and dee for positive closure. It also features a Gusseted Crotch which provides ease of crouching and reinforces the high stress area of the pant. These pants have Removable Comfort Knee Pads to greatly enhance comfort and protection in critical knee areas(insert sold separately). The Leather Knee Patches provide added safety and comfort when crawling and increase garment durability. Lastly, the Reverse Boot Cut prevents stepping on cuffs.
Features: • Comfort Knee Pads provide extra comfort through the use of Chieftain's exlusive "slip-in" removable comfort pads which fit into built-in pockets on the inside of the pant leg. This feature greatly enhances comfort when kneeling and crawling and increases thermal insulation and liquid penetration resistance to the critical knee area. (Knee pad inserts sold separately)
• Jacket sleeves and Pant cuffs are reinforced with high quality, FR treated, water-repellent leather for increased garment service life.
• All Reflective Trim consists of NFPA approved 3M Scotchlite Reflective Material.
• All critical seams are double stitched.
• All lower hems are reinforced with reflective trim.
