Its blinding central hotspot can temporarily disrupt a suspect’s night adapted vision…while providing optimum peripheral illumination. A microcontroller regulates power to deliver over 2.5 hours of continuous runtime at over 90% of full brightness before power from the two 3V CR123A batteries falls off. Then you get another hour or more of diminishing output as bright as many professional D-cell flashlights with fresh batteries—to provide plenty of useful light for navigation, back-up, and non-critical situations.
