This inexpensive mask is constructed of Activated Carbon sandwiched by cotton fiber. It filters down to 3 microns. The filter is inserted into the integral filter pocket of the HS-2. Available in a 10 Pack only.

Materials: Activated carbon sandwiched by cotton media filtration cloth with exhalation valve. Supplied with flimsy rubber straps you can tear off prior to installing in the filter pocket of the HS-2.

Size: Standard disposable filter shape

Use: Gives some structure to the HS-2, as well as providing an extra measure of respiratory relief, by physically blocking much of the airborne particulate common to all wildfires.

Limitations: When filter becomes difficult to breathe through or filter becomes damaged, simply throw away and replace with new filter. This filter doesn't block fire gases, like carbon monoxide, so please be cautious when advancing into any fire.
