This boot has a rubber sole with a shock-absorbent PU wedge,
extremely non-slip, mountain tread with distinctive heel front, resistant
to oil and gas, not chalky, anti-static in accordance with DIN EN 344/345.
Available in medium and wide, Women's sizes 4 1/2 - 9.
Shock Absorption:
Thanks to the PU wedge, the Haix models offer an
excellent shock absorption and isolation qualities.
Anti static:
Constructed of anti static material
Davis Sole:
A rubber sole with a shock-absorbent PU wedge, extremely non-slip, mountain
tread with distinctive heel front, resistant to oil and gas, not chalky,
anti-static in accordance with DIN EN 344/345.
Footbed:
Replaceable insoles ensure that moisture is transported to the lower insole.
They are made of non-abrasive Cambrelle® material with viscose and
melt fibers that ensures that moisture is optimally absorbed and that
the shoe dries quickly. HAIX® insoles have a stable form; they are
replaceable and can be washed at 86° F.
GORE-TEX®-XCR®-Membrane:
The GORE-TEX® XCR® system ensures optimum climate comfort in the
shoe, because it was specially developed for a medium to warm surrounding
temperature.
GORE-TEX® XCR® stands for "extended comfort range".
Its core is the new, extremely air-permeable GORE-TEX® XCR® membrane.
Contrary to the GORE-TEX® membrane for outdoor and winter use, GORE-TEX®
XCR® begins to "breathe" earlier. It is a climate comfort
system that is specially adapted to shoes. At the same time, it is permanently
waterproof, thus meeting the high GORE-TEX® standard.
HAIX®-Climate-System:
Every step produces a pumping movement. Together with air-permeable materials,
this effect causes the moisture from the foot to escape to the outside
via air holes in the upper leg.
HAIX®-MSL-System:
Micro-Soft-Light: PU foam is injected into the entire inner room of the
sole, improving shock-absorbency and insulation against heat and cold.
Hydrophobic:
This is a method of impregnation. By making leather hydrophobic, the water
resistance improves and the leather is easy to clean. Products that make
shoes hydrophobic consist of substances which increase the surface tension
between the leather fibre (fiber) and water, thus making it difficult
to wet the leather.
Insole:
The insole is joined to the shaft material and, due to its form and composition,
determines the stability and regulates the rolling movement of the shoe,
thus determining its area of use.
Membrane:
Very thin, fine pellicle that has a separating or dividing function. Its
function as a filter serves as a semi-permeable dividing wall.
PU foam:
PU: polyurethane
Upon injection into the sole, PU foam spreads throughout the entire hollow
room of the sole. This method seals the sole and gives it maximum shock-absorbency
features.
Velcro tongue fixture:
Fastens the shaft and the tongue to keep the tongue from slipping and
to ensure a constant fit
Waterproof leather:
Tanned, greased and hydrophobic waterproof leather made of cowhide.
