Why don't we advertise the price?

Some manufacturers require that their products be advertised by retailers at a set price. Retailers and stores can sell products below those set prices as long as they do not advertise the lower price. In a store you would have to ask a salesperson for the best price. By clicking the "Click to see the price" message you are doing the same thing.
