VERTEX VENT A11
The VERTEX VENT A11 is a well ventilated Petzl helmet designed for work at high
elevations and rescue. The ventilation is adjustable for those windy days. It
is essential that your helmet remains on your head during impact against an object
with a chin strap able to hold more than 50 daN, the VERTEXT BEST A16 meets the
standard for mountaineering helmets.
Comfortable and durable helmet with ventilation, meets requirements for working
at height (note: provides no protection from electrical hazards).
Adjustable ventilation: 5 holes on each side, can be closed with 2 sliding
shutters.
Chin strap designed to decrease the risk of the helmet coming off due to
impact during a fall (breaking strength of more than 50 daN, EN 12492 mountaineering
helmet standard).
Polycarbonate shell resists impact and wear (EN 397 and En 12 492 standards)
Meets optional requirements of the EN 397 standard: lateral deformation,
use at low temperatures (down to -30 C )
Does not meet optional requirements of the EN 397 standard regarding electrical
insulation and molten metal splash due to the ventilation holes.
