The Benchmade 140 Nimravus® incorporates a single piece full tang, modified Tanto blade shape. The blade is made of D2 air-hardened tool steel which offers good corrosion resistance and excellent mileage in wear resistance. D2 steel is a good choice for hard use applications. The BK1 coating delivers a black matte finish that adds corrosion protection while possessing higher scratch resistance. The handle features black machined aluminum handle scales with large finger groove that provides excellent bi-directional grip. Available with a black, partially serrated or black, plain edge.
