For Vertical installation in silt or muddy conditions. Where standard horizontal
strainers can easily become clogged or embedded in shifting pond or stream bottoms, this wider barrel strainer can be counted on for a reliable supply of water. Made to be positioned vertically on
a 90° elbow 1.5 to 2 feet off the bottom. Depending on conditions and water requirements, these units are frequently connected in widespread gangs of two or more through “Y” or
“T” connections to the main hydrant trunk. Slip-fit glue-on connection to 8” PVC only.
