ESS X-Tricator Goggle System
Fits all brands of Modern & Traditional Style Helmets!
The X-Tricator Series is the ideal solution for structural firefighters
who understand the need to have primary eye protection for extrications and
forcible entry work. This goggle snaps on when you want it, and snaps off when
you don't. The X-tricator can be stored in a pocket and deployed
using the Snap-On/Snap-Off helmet mount system, providing the performance of
an ESS goggle in seconds.
ESS X-Tricator goggles satisfy the primary eye protection requirements
of Federal OSHA, ANSI Z87.1 and NFPA 1500. They can be used with an approved
face shield to comply with NFPA 1971-00 standards. ESS X-Tricator goggles are
not intended to be worn on the face or stowed on a helmet during interior structural
firefighting, or at any time when the temperature is over 400°F.
