Personal Escape System now comes with a Crosby S-360 anchor hook. FireTech32™
7.5mm Heat Resistant/High Strength Personal Escape Rope was specifically developed
to overcome extreme heat, fire ground obstacles, and poor visibility when searching
for and rescuing trapped firefighters or civilians. Like all Sterling Rope RIT
Lines and escape ropes, it's designed to provide a perfect balance of strength,
heat resistance, abrasion resistance and handling. 100% Technora® kernmantle
construction provides longest exposure time to direct heat. Technora fibers offer
the best heat resistance for repeated exposures to extreme temperatures. Unique,
strong sewn eyes eliminates the need for tying knots. Sterling offers the most
extensive line of fire rescue and personal escape ropes in the industry.
The rope is certified to NFPA 1983, 2001 edition, by Underwriters
Laboratories.
The anchor hook meets the auxiliary equipment requirements
of NFPA 1983, standard on life safety rope and equipment for emergency services,
2006 edition.

'Hook Specifictions:
* The hook is intended to be a component of a system specifically
designed by a qualified person for firefighter escape.
* The user is to be trained in the proper usage of the system.
* After any use, the hook must be inspected. Any evidence of paint discoloration
due to heat damage, hook deformation, or alteration is cause for removal from
service and replacement.
* Forged Alloy Steel - Quenched and Tempered.
* This hook was designed in conjunction with members of FDNY as a component
in their fire escape system.
* Each product has a Product Identification Code (PIC) for material traceability,
along with the name Crosby forged into it.
* Design Factor of 4.4 to 1 (per NFPA 1983).
* The bowl (saddle) of the hook is designed to easily fit around pipes or framework,
and the machined tip is rated for full Working Load Limit.
* Meets the requirements of NFPA 1983 - Standard on Fire Service Life Safety
Rope and System Components, for Light-use Auxillary Equipment.
