Total Fire went back to the drawing
board to develop a premium Technical Rescue Recovery and Utility Boot that would
meet or exceed NFPA 1951, 2007 Edition Standards, including an ASTM 2413 compliant
metatarsal. The new Model 6006 does it all—in a big way—and establishes
a new standard for comfort that’s all its own.
This 100% waterproof, lace-to-toe
boot has all the basics: a non-conductive composite safety toe with a one-piece
back stay, and high-traction electrical hazard rated soles with a bottom penetration
barrier and steel shank. But the use of space-age fabric and components, and
advanced engineering, take this new boot above and beyond—to deliver the
most advanced level of comfort and protection available to the Special Operations
arm of the fire service.

Patented Rubber
Metatarsal Guard: Protects the five long bones in the forefoot
which connect the ankle bones to the toe bones. Patented rubber feature is so
lightweight you’ll barely know it’s there... no need to sacrifice comfort for
performance and safety.
Composite Toe
Cap: Eliminates hot/cold conductivity while protecting your toes
from impact injuries.
Patented PowerToe™:
The three horizontal bumper guards on our PowerToe™ dramatically improve the
wearlife of your boots. Rubber guards are a solid 1/8” rubber and will take
the abuse of day to day fire service activities.
Wrap-around Goodyear
Welt: Construction that supports and reduces fatigue and ankle
sprains and strains. Strength and comfort combine with durability to provide
incomparable strength, outstanding performance and enhanced shape that’ll last
the lifetime of the boot. The longer you wear them, the more comfortable they
become.
Steel Ladder
Shank and Stainless Steel Bottom Plate: Ladder shank protects and
supports the arch area of your foot while the heel to toe full coverage of the
steel bottom plate exceeds NFPA requirements for puncture protection.
Removable PU
Insert: Contoured polyurethane insert is removable and replaceable.
Dissipates fatigue for total comfort control. Allows for custom orthotics if
needed or upgrade to our patented DRYZ™ insert.
Premium Full
Grain Military AB Leather: Insulates and protects. Water resistant
and abrasion resistant.
Fire Resistant
Advance® Rip Stop Side Panels: From the same family of tough fibers
used in military ballistic vests and helmets. Flexible, puncture resistant and
strong even after extreme thermal exposure.
Thermally Bonded
Non-woven PRO-V Liner: Designed, developed and engineered
for high performance. Absorbent, abrasion resistant and highly wickable to help
keep the environment inside your boots healthy.
Crosstech® Moisture
Barrier: Delivers the best liquid penetration resistance against
blood, body fluids and chemicals as well as superior waterproof, breathable
