True North: Spyder Gear, Choose Wildland or SAR Configuration
A versatile “web” to hold only—or all—the gear you need. So you stay light and mobile.
Carry only the essentials. Your load can’t get much lighter than this. When
you’re working from a vehicle and only need to carry the essentials, a Spyder Gear rig can put the few things you really need to carry right on your hips, comfortably supported with the True North Pro-Series shoulder harness and waist belt. Its contoured design and ½” XPE
foam padding distribute the load to make it all seem practically weightless.
Gear and accessory pouches easily attach to the Spyder Gear System with ALICE clips for easy re-positioning or removal. The small gear bag is designed to carry items like energy bars, a mobile phone, GPS, wallet, keys, map, weather meter, head lamp and other small necessities.
Or
carry everything. X-CHANGER™ Pack
Connector lets you quickly attach
any True North Pack to your Spyder Gear™ system. This
unique accessory solidly integrates your Spyder Gear belt with the belt sleeves
on a Fireball™, Spitfire™, and many True North gear bags, or any web
gear accessories in seconds. It lets you use the same hip belt and harness to
comfortably carry bags of many different sizes and purposes for maximum versatility.
What can't be attached with the X-CHANGER™, goes on easily with ALICE
clips. Standard
military ALICE clips (All Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment)
can be used to attach most True North Accessories to your hip belt or Spyder
Gear. We sell ALICE clips 4 per pack.
