The patented, integrated safety mechanism located on the handle spine ensures the blade will not deploy inadvertently or close once locked open.

Handle Strength: Benchmade uses 6061 T-6 Aluminum in the handle of this automatic. A nonferrous metal originally developed as a premium aircraft grade aluminum, it offers solid handle form and function at a nominal weight. Non-glare, matte black handle with a tactical finish.

Blade Materials: No compromise here. Benchmade uses 154CM Stainless Steel on this blade. This American made premium grade stainless steel was originally developed for tough industrial applications. Known for its all-around qualities, it offers great corrosion resistance with excellent toughness and edge quality.
