Many fire fighters have experienced that webbing digs into the hand, even through gloves during strenuous dragging rescues or training. These webbing loops feature an aluminum handle with tubular webbing running through and an eye loop sewn in the end. Simply place a carabineer in the eye loop and hook into the DRD to add extra leverage and lessen fatigue during a fast rescue. The Long Power Handle allows a very quick and strong point of attachment for dragging. By making a girth hitch around the shoulder straps and pulling an injured fire fighter can be dragged to safety with less fatigue on the rescuer. It can also be girth hitched around the knees of the down firefighter and used as a point to pull, assisting the firefighter at the head. This allows two firefighters to drag a down firefighter out together. Note that the power handle is what really makes this loop stand out from just a standard hose strap. It can be used in two different configurations, with or without a carabineer and also functions as a portable handle to help in lifting a wide variety of heavy loads.
