ECS: Emergency Charge System, AA Battery 12v. BK-Style Powerpack & Adapter for all Portable Electronic Gear

This portable power source keeps personal communication devices charged even when the power goes out. The ECS system supplies power through a Bendix King style AA battery powerpack that holds 9 standard AA cells (included). The powerpack can be connected directly to a BK D, E, G, KX99 or L Series portable radio to provide 40 to 60 hours of operation on a single set of batteries.
Up to 300 hours of emergency cell phone use on one set of 9 AA batteries*. The Emergency Charge System also contains a heavy duty 12v. auto plug adapter machined out of a solid block of aluminum. This lightweight, but virtually unbreakable socket attaches to the powerpack without tools. Now you have a reliable 12v. power supply to recharge or immediately power cell phones GPS receivers, iPods, radios, and other portable electronic devices with a cigarette lighter plug power cord. Stay charged and worry-free when you have ECS by your side, in your tool box, on a camping trip, or at home as part of your safety kit.
Proven in the 2007 San Diego Wildfires. The Emergency Charge System has shown itself to be a great asset for Wildland Firefighters, SWAT teams, Search & Rescue Teams, and Homeland Security. During the recent San Diego wildfires, law enforcement agencies, wildland firefighters, and first responders successfully used ECS chargers to keep their cell phones and radios powered to aid in incident response.
