Convenient, long-lived lithium batteries can be changed in seconds. Like the Streamlight Tactical Weapon Lights it’s based on, the Vantage uses two small, lightweight, 3-volt CR123 lithium batteries to power both the main light and an ultra bright blue taillight LED. You can carry a set of spares in any pocket. The back of the Vantage can be opened, the batteries changed, and snapped back on again in under 30 seconds, without taking the light off the helmet. And because the lithium batteries have a storage life over 10 years, and are not affected by extreme temperatures, they provide a convenient and extremely reliable source of power.

compact, bright, durable without the headache of buying a seperate helmet flashlight holder. Also good for night MVA's and low-light EMS duty. Was a Birthday gift to my FF/EMT-I husband. Excellent.

This light is very compact but still able to be easy turned on with a structure fire glove on. The blue LED works like a charm for 2nd firefighter to track you during most searches and the light emitted in a clean bright white with good spread while remaining a true center focal area for focused lighting for yourself or other rescuers to work by. I wore this to our structure search and RIT training and had many firefighters asking about as it was the exact system and illumination they had been searching for after buying numerous horrible personal lights.

Helmet mounted lights are tricky, but not this one. Bright light, accessible switch and rearward facing beacon are first class. If you are an aggressive interior firefighter, this is the light for you. It costs a little more, but it's worth it.

I have this attached to the brim of my Phoenix Helmet and it is always there and always ready to light up my dark world of firefighting. Highly recommend this light to all firefighters.

I have used this light on several fires. It is by far the best helmet light i have ever owned. period. i cant see myself replacing it anytime soon. it is durable and withstands the heat no problems.

These lights are great. I love how bright they are and how easily they attach to my structure and brush helmets. They are also easy to adjust and the blue lights to the rear are cool, especially for easy recognition in fire conditions.

Great product, has a long battery life. Used it in some fires and holds up well against the heat. It is easy to turn on with gloves and isn't nearly as much of an entaglement hazard as a lot of others.
