SKELETAL Kevlar patch design allows superb dexterity and flexibility. Super tough, cut-resistant PBI silicone coated Kevlar palm and back patches are layered over a base of durable goat skin and soft cowhide. The unique SKELETAL design of the patches covers 98% of the palm wear areas and critical sections on the back of the glove, providing the extremely high-level cut protection required for extrication operations. The protective Kevlar surface patches are placed to allow the glove’s pliable finger joints and FR Goatskin fourchettes (side finger panels) to maintain the Blaze Fighter's exceptional finger flexibility and dexterity. Seamless rollover goatskin fingertips and textured Kevlar finger pad grip areas increase tactility and grip, without adding stiffness.

True 3-D design for a more comfortable fit. Ergonomically correct pre-curved 3-D glove design makes all the difference when these gloves are on. Unlike gloves with a flat design, the Blaze Fighter EXT is made to take the normal curved resting position of the hand—even accounting for the different shape and taper of each finger. The flexibility and snug fit provide more comfort and reduces stress when gripping or holding, so you can wear these gloves comfortably for longer periods of time.

Advanced multi-layer construction adds unsurpassed protection. Tough, naturally water-resistant goatskin, a snag-free circular-knit Kevlar inner lining, and advanced laminate construction provide the highest levels of thermal-, moisture, and puncture-protection. It effectively blocks water, liquid chemicals, and blood borne pathogens. An additional under layer of soft, comfortable, pill-resistant Kevlar increases thermal and cut protection even more. Blaze Fighter’s TPP is almost double the NFPA requirement.

	Gauntlet Cuff model shows the real advantage of Blaze Fighter’s 3-Dimensional Design. The naturally open, rounded palm and fingers allow your hand to practically slide in and out, yet provide a snug, comfortable fit, even when gripping or holding; even when wet. An inner cuff of soft elk leather and a convenient leather pull loop make donning and doffing easier than ever.
	The Blaze Fighter EXT Long Cuff model is made with a super soft colorfast Kevlar/Spandex blend engineered to maintain it’s stretch—and consequently its ability to protect against heat and debris—for the life of the glove.
