Now they’re available as a virtually unbreakable replacement for your wooden-handled fire axe or sledge. These bright yellow 36” replacement handles offer the familiar shape, feel, and positive orientation of a wooden axe or sledge handles. But that’s where the resemblance ends. The yellow, textured polyurethane jacket is molded over a solid fiberglass core to provide a traditionally-shaped handle that’s highly visible, virtually unbreakable, resists extreme heat and severe weather, and will not conduct electricity. Its stippled, textured gripping surface assures a secure hold, wet or dry, even in gloved hands. It’s a handle you’ll want to hold onto…for many years to come.
