Meets NFPA requirements. Safe for Nomex, Kevlar, PBI, leather and liner materials. Unlike off-the-shelf, one-step detergents designed for general use, Station Care 1851 Turnout Cleaner is made to rigid specifications. It contains many of the same formulations used in Lion TotalCare's proprietary 11-step process, acknowledged by many fire researchers and personnel as the most thorough gear cleaning procedure available. This is an in-station alternative for companies who seek an effective and economical means of removing smoke, soot, dirt, perspiration and light hydrocarbons absorbed in the course of day-today firefighting activity. Lion TotalCare® products will not harm Nomex®, Kevlar®, PBI®, leather reinforcements, trim, or liner materials. Lion TotalCare's products are recommended for both outer shell and all liner systems.
