Currently available for 2006, 2007, 2008 Ford Crown Victoria (others vehicle models coming soon), this simple, inexpensive seatbelt extension makes wearing seat belts comfortable and safer for law enforcement officers, military, and security personnel, even when they are wearing a full duty belt. The semi-rigid Clickit remains upright when clicked into the vehicle’s female seatbelt buckle, raising the new attachment point approximately eight inches, where it is safely and conveniently above the officer’s holster, equipment, or other duty gear. The additional height means there is only one strap along the officer’s hip making seat belt wear far more comfortable. Plus its rigid position allows the belt to be fastened or released with one hand, and by feel alone. Suddenly it’s easier for the officer to enter a vehicle and quickly secure himself—and easier to exit while addressing an emergency or threat—even with a full duty belt. In fact Clickit can allow immediate and unrestricted access to a duty weapon, without unfastening the seatbelt.
