The Gut Belt is life insurance at an affordable rate. Firefighters should have their own belt, not one they have to share. The Gut Belt is practical for everyday use because it is not oversized and cumbersome which is exactly what firefighters need in high-stress environments, especially with bulk of turnout gear and equipment that is carried. The D-Rings are made for 3/4" webbing and the belt itself is made of 2" webbing; specially sized and fitted so accessories don’t come sliding forward when bending over. All load bearing stitching is protected from heat and abrasion by the Thread Protector and the velcro webbing retainer keeps excess webbing in place.
