With its shatterproof 360 deg polycarbonate lens and impact resistant ABS body, this eFlare is super tough in all conditions. High strength clips permit attachment of the beacon to cones, signs, belts or vehicle windows. The detachable base (NOT included, sold separately) is easy to use and will detach from the beacon if struck by a vehicle to minimize damage. The beauty of the eFlare is that they can be used over and over again. The alkaline D-cell battery life is good up to 40 hours of full brightness and there is a low battery indicator on the beacon that shows when batteries need to be replaced.
