Black Helmet Apparel was recently contacted by a fireman at Camp Liberty in Iraq who asked them to design their new duty shirt as a reward for passing a skills test.... Here is what he wrote....

"We are firefighters from all over the USA, some career some volunteer. We are comprised of 2 stations with 2 engines, one tanker, and one heavy rescue and a 3rd station with an ARFF truck. We recently were tested on our skills and operations and we scored a 95, which was the highest in country. We strive everyday to do our best to " Protect those who protect the peace."

On or off duty these men and women are risking their lives in the middle of a war zone. Mortars land near their stations regularly. They face many other hazards that in civilian firefighting we will never face. Black Helmet is proud to represent them…proud to be considered one of their brothers.
