German knife maker Steffen Bender developed an exceptionally stout, sturdy fixed-blade full-tang knife of tough, 440C stainless steel with a stonewashed finish…and an ingenious system of interchangeable Micarta handle scales that can be swapped without tools. When attached, the scales are as secure as if they were bolted into place. Then you can make the whole package even stronger, and extremely comfortable, simply by winding a length of Mil-spec paracord through pre-set holes in the tang. You can wrap the knife with black cord, or any color paracord you like—in a basic straight pattern…or in a layered and woven pattern to suit your taste and hand. Boker Bender blade knife includes black Micarta (included) scale handle, as shown. And of course we all know how valuable a couple feet of paracord can be in an emergency. Includes a Kydex sheath.
