A great little knife inspired by the versatile leaves of the Prickly Pear. Newton Martin is a young knife maker from Texas, known for rugged fixed blades. He recently started designing and making folding knives as well. His model "Nopal" got its name from the Texan word for the cactus plant, whose leaves inspired the shape of the closed knife. The stable Wharncliffe blade has a chisel grind, offering extraordinary strength and sharpness. The straight cutting edge allows extremely precise cuts and perfect tip control. Steel liner and textured G-10 scales have deep finger notches that provide excellent ergonomics and a secure grip. The satin finished blade is made of durable, corrosion-resistant 440C stainless steel, and locks with a sturdy liner lock mechanism. Includes removable pocket clip for convenient carry.
