SOG improves the versatile Trident line with the new ARC Lock and proven Tanto blade. So simple, but so effective. The two-directional grind of this classic workhorse blade complements one of the best handles and locks in the business. The reinforced Tanto blade tip points instinctually and is easily controlled with thumb notches on the back. SOG’s patented S.A.T.™—SOG Assisted Technology helps propel the blade open with exceptional speed and consistent power once the operator has initiated the one-handed opening action. Of course the feature that makes the Trident totally unique is the patented Groove™ in the handle, which exposes a small area of the blade, allowing the operator to safely cut paracord, seat belts, straps, clothing, fishing line, etc., without even opening the blade. A sturdy piston lock that activates automatically to keep the blade closed until you decide to release it with the Trident’s new Arc-Actuator. The reversible low-profile bayonet style SOG logo clip can be used in either left or right side pockets for discreet, low carry or removed for pouch storage. There’s even a built in safety shows that shows red to signal the knife is armed and ready to go…whenever you are.
