The Flexible Stretcher‘s unique slated design firmly supports even large bodies, yet permits the responders to maneuver it through small spaces and tight turns where traditional rigid stretchers normally wouldn’t have room. The body cover is constructed of tough, 10 oz. vinyl, and the flexible stretcher base of durable, lightweight 18 oz. vinyl-coated polyester, creating a single sealed system that is highly resistant to acids, alkali, and penetration by liquids of all kinds…and easily washed with soap and water. Hardwood slats positioned between two layers of fabric provide strength and head-to-toe support, while conforming to the body for minimum width during transport. Three 2” wide patient security straps with durable plastic press-release buckles provide efficient immobilization.
