With its bright Xenon bulb, Wide-eye reflector, and long-lasting rechargeable Ni-Cad battery, the Responder RA delivers a powerful, tightly pre-focused beam of smoke-piercing light for two continuous hours. That’s more than enough runtime for most calls. But when you need light for an extended period, the spent rechargeable battery pack can be quickly replaced by four common C-cell alkaline batteries (no adaptor needed!) to deliver an additional five hours of light with an even brighter initial output of up to 60,000 CP! It’s a must-have power option for professionals on the job.

Light, super-tough, thoroughly dependable, and so easy to carry. At about one pound, and only 7” tall, the Responder RA may be small, but it’s no lightweight. Its super tough, waterproof, Nylon polymer body and unbreakable polycarbonate lens are made to survive—even the demanding industry-standard 30-ft. Drop Test. In addition to the interchangeable power supply option, the Responder RA holds two spare bulbs behind the reflector, so you’ll always have a spare when you need it. Its contoured body was designed to be carried comfortably and securely in a gloved hand. And oversized, dome-shaped pushbutton switch is conveniently positioned at the side of the reflector—designed for fast, easy operation, even with that heavily gloved hand. It can also be worn on a shoulder strap or firmly clipped to a belt or pocket with its tight, practically unbreakable stainless steel clip. A loop in the top of the clip takes a split ring for easy attachment to any lanyard, retractor, carabiner, or snap hook.

Quick Recharge. So it’s always ready. The included Quick Charger II will recharge the dependable 4.8v battery pack in 2 hours or less…and charge an optional spare battery at the same time. Get called to another emergency before you have time to recharge? Simply unscrew the battery cover, remove the rechargeable pack, and replace it with four C-cell Alkaline batteries. You immediately have five more hours of light output! When you’re back at the station, or the truck if you’re using the included DC power cord to mount it in your vehicle, simply snap the light into the charger…which can safely store the light when not in use. LED status indicator tells when it’s charging, fully charged, or being maintained on standby.
