Cuts battery cables easier than the big cable cutter version


Its amazing how much lighter this tool is than the larger version. I don't know how they do it, but this tool clearly cuts easier. than my 89. It also cuts through ceiling wire and battery cables easier than the larger model. Oh, it fits in radio pocket and good for hand operation with the spring assist.


"will this product fit in a standard size pocket on bunker pants?"

This should fit into the pocket on the outer side pocket of any bunker pant, the tool is about 9"" long.

"Can you get this with the sheath that was available for the older model?"

At the moment no, but I'm thinking the 4144 sheath might work for this also

"which has the stronger cutting blade, the 86 or 88?"
