Foam block immobilization system for all types of spineboards.

The Head Guard is a reusable, custom-tailored head immobilizer that fits most spineboards. The side blocks (held in place with extra-strong Hook and Loop attachments that works even in water) are adjustable, shifting to accommodate almost any angle. Large ear holes make patient evaluation easy. Head and chin straps hold the head securely in place. Vinyl-dipped foam blocks provide firm but resilient support and a clean hygienic surface. Easily attaches to spine boards with all Hook and Loop strapping.

There are no metal parts, makes this immobilization system 100% X-Ray translucent and MRI/CT scanning safe. The poly-dipped vinyl coating cleans and disinfects easily while deflecting bio-hazards and preventing bacterial growth. It is also waterproof.

The blocks have large ear holes to allow the patient to hear comfortably and also create an access point to assess ear canals for blood or fluid.  All components are reusable with proper disinfecting techniques.
