Details

The latest in Globe's Structural Series – SUPRALITE™ – is even lighter and more flexible by design.

The all-new and more aggressive outsole keeps the superior grip of our original while the uppers feature the world's first use of DragonHide™ — a Globe exclusive that is so tough that we use it to reinforce turnout gear. Together with the famous Globe FootGear fit, this comes the closest yet to feeling like your favorite sneakers while providing the protection, support, and slip resistance you depend on.

Extended Size Range:
Men's 5-15.5 (full and half sizes), 16-18 (full sizes only) in Medium, Wide, and X-Wide widths. Wide calf model available in all sizes. The circumference of the regular calf boot (pull-on) is 17.5” and for the wide calf is 20.5”.

Sizing Note:A different footbed insert is in the SupraLite which is slightly taller than the thinner footbed used with the Supremes and Shadows. This extra height makes the boots feel narrower. Please take this into consideration when ordering your size.

NFPA 1971 (Structural Fire Fighting) and NFPA 1992 (Liquid Splash) compliant.

More comfortable than my station boots

by

First off, when my package arrived I thought that they forgot to pack the boots because they were so light! These boots have been on two fires so far and I can tell you that after owning these, I would pay double if I had to. They fit about a half size small and are narrow but break in quickly. The traction on these is great and they are very warm in cold weather but breathe great in hot/humid conditions. I work in Fairbanks Alaska where it gets to -55 and can tell you that my feet have been the least of my worries since purchasing these.

Great Boots!

by

Couldn't be happier with these boots. I've had several different pairs of structural firefighting boots and these are by far the most comfortable. It's only been a few months so it's too soon to tell as far as durability goes, but no problems so far. I definitely recommend these boots. And although very expensive, thefirestore.com had the best price with holiday coupon and they arrived about 4 days after I ordered

Best boot out there! Hands down!

by

This product is top of the line! Most comfortable boot globe has made. Highly flexible, comfortable, feet don't sweat, feels like a Nike shoe, best wearing boot ever worn. Made from great material. fits just like the size shoe you wear. Boot is already broken in. No need to wear them around to break them in like other leather boots!

Great Fit.

by

Great fitting boot - very light weight - they are very well made, stitching is pletiful.

Great structure boot

by

I bought this boot because of the uncomfortable boots that was issued to me. These are very comfortable and fit quite well. Well worth the price for an exceptional boot.

Most comfortable boot I've owned

by

Most lightweight and comfortable boot I've owned. The manufacturer even provides small size inserts to achieve a tighter fit if desired. They are still new, so I'll have to see how durable they are. If they last, I will definitely buy them again.

Great Bood

by

The boot is very comfortable. I changed the insole that came with it and felt like I was wearing a pair of running shoes. I've had them for a couple of months now and have spent hours in them without my feet hurting like they did with the rubber boots that were issued to me.

Awsome boots

by

great boot, nice and light to wear. feel like a light pair of work boots.

Globe boot

by

Most comfortable fire boot I have.

Comfortable and Versatile

by

I have worn these boots for structural firefighting in temperatures ranging from 15 degrees to -35 degrees Celsius and I am amazed at the comfort and stability of these boots. They really are the closest thing to the feel of wearing running shoes.

Really Comfortable Boots

by

Amazing how comfortable and lightweight these boots are! They do feel like you're wearing sneakers. Why did I wait so long before getting them? It's true what the website says about the sizing. With my all rubber boots, I wore a 9W so I went with a 10W to make sure they'd fit. They were still a hair snug but broke in nicely after a couple of shifts. I'd probably recommend that you go 1 1/2 sizes higher to avoid this. Other than that, no complaints here. Awesome boots, worth every penny!

Size not quite right.

by

The comfort and weight are outstanding and I was completely blown away. My toes were jammed when I walked around in them. I ordered the same size as what I would were if I were in tennis shoes. I replaced them for a 1/2 size larger.

Good fit, but don't last long

by

Thought we had found a great boot when we boght these. They fit great from the start, but things went down hill. Mosdt of the boots we bought didn't last a year. More foot injuries than with the previous boots.

Q&A's:

"Are they true to shoe size?"

This is the best answer we can give you at this point in time; Together with the famous Globe FootGear fit, this comes the closest yet to feeling like your favorite sneakers while providing the protection, support, and slip resistance you depend on. Extended Size Range: Men's 5-15.5 (full and half sizes), 16-18 (full sizes only) in Narrow, Medium, Wide, and X-Wide widths. Wide calf model available in all sizes. NFPA 1971 (Structural Fire Fighting) and NFPA 1992 (Liquid Splash) compliant.

"It's September. When are the boots being shipped?"

The manufacturer told me they were shipping to us on 9/1/13. I just checked our system and they have not been received yet. But they should be here any day. Once they are received, we'll turn them around and fulfill pending pre-orders.

"What is the weight of this typ boots - pcs and pair?"

According to the manufacturer they are approximately 5 lbs per pair.

"Hi, globe offers the Narrow width in all sizes, can you order those? Thanks"

Hi Jon. We checked with Globe. They told us the Supralite is not available in narrow.

"How much do they weigh?"

The average weight is 6 lbs., keep in mind the larger the size the more it will weigh

"I use orthotic inserts in my shoes. My size is 12 wide. Should any size adjustment be considered when ordering this boot?"

Bob all of the major firefighter boot manufactures are working to size their boots to the same size as you would wear in a athletic shoe, we don't know what to tell you about your inserts. We will contact Globe and see if they can help us with your question.

"I use orthotic inserts in my shoes. My size is 12 wide. Should any size adjustment be considered when ordering this boot?"

Bob we sent your question to the boot manufacturer and this is their reply back; Hope this helps you. We recommend that if he wears them in his everyday shoes, to order the same size as he normally wears and they should fit.

"I heard that if you fight a fire with foam or get into chemicals that you have to wash the boots off as soon as possible or the boots will break down. Is this statement true or is there a warrantee on these boots?"

This is a rumor that's been going around for awhile now, back at the beginning of the leather bunker boot era, to our knowledge this has been unfounded. Since Globe has been selling their boot it has come close to being the number 1 boot on the market.

"The sizing note says the sole inside is taller than that in the other Globe boots and makes it feel more narrow. So if I wear a size 11, Medium width, do I need to order an 11.5 or an 11 Wide? Thank you."

Our suggestion would be to order the size you normally wear and try that first. If they don't fit then you can exchange them for another size. Exchange boots for sizing cannot be worn, damaged or used.
