DO NOT BUY! I am NOFD and have had these boots for 2 years, they fill with water already! Thorogood customer service is even worse. 1 year warranty, DO NOT BUY!

Q&A's:

"I have a pair of these..11 1/2 W...my foot slides in them alittle more that I would like..I use 11 1/2 in nike just wondering if I would be better suited to a 11W?"

Here's another thought, your Nike's are not a W width are they, why not give a pair of 11.5 M width boots a thought before you go to a size smaller?

"I have a pair of these..11 1/2 W...my foot slides in them alittle more that I would like..I use 11 1/2 in nike just wondering if I would be better suited to a 11W?"

Well because I wear all different sizes depending on brand...my Red Wing station boots are 10W...I've put on a pair of black diamond 10M in regular rubber structure boots and they fit a little too snug..I would just hate to order a pair and not have them fit right..

"Is there any warranty on the leather of these boots?"

AJ, All leather Thorogood NFPA products manufactured by Weinbrenner Shoe company, or it's authorized distributors are guaranteed to be free of any manufacturing or material defects for a period of 1 year from date of purchase, with the exception of the sole which will be warranted for the useable life of the boot. (Normal sole wear is not considered a defect.) Note; you must activate your warranty at www.weinbrennerusa.com/warranty

"I wear a 10.5 e2 redwing work boot and would like to know what size boot I should go with? redwings seem to run smaller in the width because I don't have really wide feet."

1st thing, we have been recommending over the years that FF wear a wide boot to help make a better fit with a heavier sock than you would normal wear in a athletic shoe/sneaker (nike). if you just wear a normal sock day in and day out, stay with your normal shoe size and width. If you are happy with a size 10.5 M than go for it, to get a smaller width you will need to down size 1 size.

"I have the round toe version of these boots in 8.5 M. They where very tight at first 8 years ago but slide on much easier after being worn so much. I'd like to try the oblique toe boots and was thinking of going up in size to a 9 W. I wear a 9-9.5 athletic shoe and my 8.5 bunker boots are still tight after all these years. What do u recommend?"

Were not going to recommend anything. The boot manufacturers have been building their boots as close as they can to the same sizing as your athletic shoe sizing as they possibly can, with out a lot of complaints coming back. You have to wear them, so it's your choice.

"I have 2 questions: Can I also buy these boots in Europe or do you also ship products there? And width idicates foot or calf width?"

For international orders please use international checkout. The width is foot width.

"how does this boot compare in weight to the Globe brand?"

Globe is a lighter boot.
