Simulaids Sim-VS Standalone Virtual Assessment System

Simulaids’ Sim-VS Standalone Virtual Assessment System allows instructors to build out custom simulations to effectively assess their students’ healthcare skills.

The Sim-VS Virtual Assessment System consists of a monitor stand with a display, auto BP cuff, pulse ox, and thermometer, along with a separate glucometer. The system allows instructors to build out what parts of the simulation they need when they need it.

The Sim-VS enables students to train with a standardized patient, manikin, or simulator. The instructor’s tablet control device can link one or more sets of equipment and control each set as a group, allowing the instructor to manage several patient profiles in real time.

When a student activates the related portion of the display for a device, the display will show the relevant information that the instructor has set for the patient (e.g., touching temperature on the display will show the patient’s temperature). The instructor’s tablet is then updated about the student’s action as feedback.

The Virtual Assessment System and its components can be seamlessly integrated with other more advanced Sim-VS systems to enable more complex training simulations.
