The composite safety toe version features a cap that provides the same protection as steel, but is non-metallic, corrosion resistant, transmit less cold, and weigh less. In addition, this version is also considered Electric Hazard Resistant Footwear. These shoes have been constructed/manufactured with electric shock-resisting soles and heels. Tested for and meets CAN/CSA-Z195 ELECTRIC SHOCK RESISTANCE.
 
The ASR outsole itself features a specially formulated dual-density rubber sole compound. The combination of advanced design, the newest materials, technology, and quality manufacturing define the ASR collection. The ASR styles are 100% non-metallic utilizing composite toes and non-metallic hardware (eyelets). These features will help minimize the chance of marking / scratching work surfaces and will not activate security screening devices.
 
CERTIFICATION: Footwear meets or exceeds the ASTM F2913-11 SATRA Test Method TM144 Standard for slip resistance. Tested for and meets CAN/CSA-Z195 ELECTRIC SHOCK RESISTANCE.*
